About The Position

Melmark is a nonprofit organization providing clinically-sophisticated evidence-based special education, residential, vocational, and therapeutic services for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, medical complexities, and other neurological and genetic disorders. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide clinical physical therapy to individuals, ensuring their safety and well-being while implementing highly technical clinical and teaching programs. The Physical Therapist will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to meet the diverse needs of our population.

Requirements

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program
• Current licensure for physical therapy in Massachusetts
• Minimum of two (2) years of physical therapy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical physical therapy to individuals across our programs
• Managing treatment delivery through direct therapeutic services and consultative services as needed
• Ensuring the safety of individuals, particularly those who may exhibit aggressive or self-injurious behavior
• Implementing highly technical clinical and teaching programs to address the unique needs of each individual
• Adhering to Melmark's Code of Conduct and Standards of Professionalism, as well as Management Competencies for management/supervisory positions
