About The Position
The Physical Therapist position at GSS MN Westbrook Ctr involves planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs aimed at helping clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. The role includes conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease, utilizing various tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions while adhering to safety protocols. Documentation of client information for evaluation is essential, as is the establishment and modification of therapeutic plans as necessary. The therapist will educate clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home, demonstrating knowledge of age-related treatments and evaluations. The position may involve treating individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements. Flexibility in work schedules and participation in departmental promotion activities are also expected. The therapist may supervise assistants and provide ongoing education and training to peers.
