About The Position

This position is focused on completing Admissions. Provides professional physical therapy services to the organization’s clients as prescribed by the physician, and in compliance with the state’s professional practice act for physical therapy, any applicable licensure/certification requirements, and the organization’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Possession of a degree, which includes an internship from a baccalaureate/university program in physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed to practice as a physical therapist in the state of practice.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a physical therapist or have a preceptor for a minimum of 6-8 weeks.
• Must have current Driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work site.

Responsibilities

• Complete Admissions for clients.
• Provide professional physical therapy services as prescribed by the physician.
• Ensure compliance with the state’s professional practice act for physical therapy.
• Adhere to applicable licensure/certification requirements.
• Follow the organization’s policies and procedures.
