Physical Therapist (Sports Medicine) – IRG Bellevue
About The Position
IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist with a passion for sports, athletic performance, and movement to join their IRG Bellevue team. Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
- Experience working with athletes, active individuals, or sports performance programs.
- Strong understanding of return-to-play progressions and functional testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations to assess orthopedic, sports-related, and functional conditions; develop tailored treatment plans aligned with patient and athletic goals.
- Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, corrective movement training, and performance-based interventions.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting programming to support safe return to sport or activity.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, athletic trainers, sports performance specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and sport-specific injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation following clinic and regulatory standards.
- Support a collaborative, team-oriented clinical environment.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements.
