About The Position

IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist with a passion for sports, athletic performance, and movement to join their IRG Bellevue team. This clinic features a strong sports medicine focus, working with recreational athletes, competitive youth, weekend warriors, and active adults recovering from injury or striving to enhance performance. Our therapists evaluate, plan, and administer evidence-based treatment to help patients recover from injuries, optimize movement, relieve pain, and prevent future injury. You will design treatment plans aligned with medical referrals, sports demands, and individual performance goals. Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
  • Experience working with athletes, active individuals, or sports performance programs.
  • Strong understanding of return-to-play progressions and functional testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial evaluations to assess orthopedic, sports-related, and functional conditions; develop tailored treatment plans aligned with patient and athletic goals.
  • Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, corrective movement training, and performance-based interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting programming to support safe return to sport or activity.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, athletic trainers, sports performance specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and sport-specific injury prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation following clinic and regulatory standards.
  • Support a collaborative, team-oriented clinical environment.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements.
