About The Position

At Atlantic Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated per diem Physical Therapist with serial casting experience to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at Goryeb's Children's Hospital's outpatient therapy team. Requirements

• Experience in physical therapy with a focus on serial casting.
• Ability to perform initial evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a pediatric setting.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art therapy equipment.
• Previous experience in a per diem role.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial evaluation examination.
• Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
• Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
• Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
• Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
• Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
• Works with other professionals in an effective manner.
• Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
