About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute of Rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center Dallas, Texas Physical Therapist - Residency Acute Full Time Salary: $80,080.00 Must have at least 1 year of rehabilitation tech or nursing tech experience to be considered. Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) is a distinguished teaching hospital located near downtown Dallas and is continually recognized as a top hospital in the nation. BUMC provides multiple clinical specialties, including Level 1 trauma services, transplantation, Level III NICU, left-ventricular assist (LVAD) implantation, Stroke Center and a dedicated cancer hospital. Therapists have the opportunity to rotate positions between teams, providing the opportunity to expand their treatment skills across a variety of diagnoses and to develop clinical specializations. Requirements

Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in Texas
Excellent communication skills
Physical ability to perform examination and treatment procedures
Psychological and social stability required for successful completion of the program
Evidence of commitment to a career in Acute Care practice
Strong skills in scientific inquiry and writing
Meet all requirements for employment at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Hospital Division
Eligible to sit for exam based on graduation requirement being met will be considered.
