About the position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Little Elm, TX is seeking a full-time outpatient Physical Therapist. The position is set to start on July 1 and is located just 9 minutes from the Dallas North Tollway on Eldorado, serving the West Frisco/Little Elm area. The clinic treats a variety of populations including orthopedic, sports, vestibular, post-operative/prehabilitation, fall prevention, and workers' compensation. Candidates should be hardworking, motivated, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Manage an average patient case load of 8 patients a day.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families as needed.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
