The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for providing safe and effective Physical Therapy services by implementing appropriate evaluation, treatment, and education designed to meet the identified needs and functional goals of the patient. The role requires effective and professional communication with patients, families/caregivers, and team members, promoting teamwork within the department. The Rehabilitation teams at Samaritan evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions that have caused a decline in self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence. The team is collaborative and multi-disciplinary, offering evidence-based practice and compassionate individualized treatment. The facility provides specialty care from pediatrics to geriatrics, neurological to women's health, and more, with a focus on complex patient needs in a high-acuity environment.
