Physical Therapist - PRN Independence Rehab is proud to partner with Sunny Ridge Care Center in Nampa. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team at Sunny Ridge! What You'll Do • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans • Provide skilled physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training • Complete evaluations, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation • Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants • Provide patient and family education related to mobility, safety, and fall prevention • Collaborate closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team • Assist with coverage needs for vacations, fluctuating census, and higher-acuity caseloads If you'd like additional support with any competencies, we are happy to provide training and mentorship. Requirements

Current Idaho Physical Therapist license in good standing
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said-if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
