About The Position

Arise CareStaff is hiring a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to work for our client healthcare facility in Clearlake, CA for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and outpatient settings, providing comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care and outpatient settings preferred.
Current California Physical Therapist License. (Pending licenses accepted.)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess patients’ physical therapy needs through clinical examination and diagnostic tests.
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapies.
Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on treatment options, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
