Requirements

Valid, unrestricted California Physical Therapist (PT) License.
Strong clinical reasoning, accurate documentation, and the ability to motivate residents throughout their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive resident evaluations and create evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals.
Provide high-quality, hands-on therapy in line with the California State Practice Act.
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and guide Restorative Aides to ensure consistent care delivery.
Maintain accurate daily notes, progress reports, and recertification documentation in a timely manner.
Collaborate closely with nursing and the broader clinical team; participate in care conferences and utilization reviews as needed.
Educate residents and families on safe mobility and home-exercise programs; recommend and coordinate necessary durable medical equipment (DME) such as walkers and braces.
