Your Clinical Impact: Evaluation & Planning: Conduct thorough resident evaluations and design evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals. Direct Treatment: Deliver high-quality, hands-on therapy in accordance with the California State Practice Act. Clinical Leadership: Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and provide guidance to Restorative Aides to ensure consistent care delivery. Precise Documentation: Maintain accurate daily notes, progress reports, and recertification documentation in a timely manner. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with nursing and the broader clinical team; participate in care conferences and utilization reviews as needed. Discharge Success: Educate residents and families on safe mobility and home-exercise programs; recommend and coordinate necessary DME (walkers, braces, etc.). Requirements

  • Valid, unrestricted California Physical Therapist (PT) License.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, accurate documentation, and the ability to motivate residents through their recovery journey.
