About The Position
Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978. We currently seeking an exceptional State Board Licensed Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient team in the fabulous Folsom Outpatient Clinic with an awesome Director and Rehab team! The need is part to full-time and comes with a full benefit package. The hours are flexible - what works for you? This specific position is for an NCS, Neurologic Certified Specialist, or a PT who has experience specializing in treating people with neurologic deficits. We need a PT to assist and grow our program treating neurologic diseases like Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Strokes and more! We recognize this is a special field and know there are PTs that LOVE neurology and are able to go above and beyond to assist their patients! Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university or the foreign equivalent
- California state licensed Physical Therapist
Nice To Haves
- NCS, Neurologic Certified Specialist, or a PT who has experience specializing in treating people with neurologic deficits
Responsibilities
- Assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions
- Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait and functional training
- Educate patient and family on proper care plans
- Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided
