About The Position
ATC Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13 weeks travel assignment in Dillon, SC. This position is based in a small rural clinic setting, primarily treating orthopedic cases while also serving a wide variety of diagnoses. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitative care in alignment with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license (SC or compact eligibility as applicable)
- AHA BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Nice To Haves
- Strong orthopedic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data review
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patient-specific functional goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions consistent with physician orders and evidence-based practice
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Promote a compassionate, patient-centered environment
- Contribute to departmental performance and support quality improvement initiatives
- Precept and mentor new staff when assigned
