About The Position

Inabia is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join the rehabilitation team in Kilgore. This role focuses on helping patients recover mobility, strength, and independence after injury, surgery, or illness in a supportive rehabilitation environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving patient outcomes and enjoys working collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Active Texas Physical Therapist License
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients’ mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans designed to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.
• Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, mobility retraining, and neuromuscular re-education .
• Assist patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, neurological conditions, stroke, and general deconditioning .
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programs based on patient response and rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and safe mobility techniques .
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Support discharge planning by recommending assistive devices, home modifications, or continued therapy services when appropriate.
