About The Position
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients at the Glenwood Center (Cypress Cove). The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall functional ability. Location: Florence, AL (ZIP: 35630) Facility: Glenwood Center – Cypress Cove Employment Type: Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 12/01/2026 Shift: 5x8 Days Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours/week Specialty: Physical Therapy
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license (AL or compact, as applicable)
- Ability to work 5x8 day shifts
- Availability for a 13-week contract
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation treatments
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies
