About The Position

Princeton Staffing Solutions is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide therapy services to students in a school-based special education setting in Soldotna, AK for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience with pediatric or school-aged populations and be passionate about helping students improve functional mobility and gross motor skills within educational environments. Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Educational/Teacher Certification if required by the state Department of Education

Nice To Haves

  • School-based or pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate students' gross motor and physical development related to accessing the educational curriculum
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to address each student's unique needs
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technologies to support students with physical and cognitive disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote carryover of therapy goals across settings
  • Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with school district guidelines and state practice regulations
