This is an excellent opportunity to work in a large acute care hospital helping patients restore mobility, strength, and independence. POSITION OVERVIEW The Physical Therapist evaluates patient mobility, develops individualized treatment plans, and delivers therapeutic interventions focused on restoring function and reducing pain. This role collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. SCHEDULE • Day shifts typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with rotating weekends COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $35.77 to $49.18 based on experience • $10,000 sign-on bonus KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and functional limitations • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans • Deliver hands-on therapy to improve movement and reduce pain • Educate patients and families on treatment goals and recovery plans • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation • Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation practices WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • 523-bed acute care hospital with advanced specialty programs • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration • Access to advanced rehabilitation technology and resources • Career growth and professional development opportunities • Supportive and structured clinical environment

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida required
  • 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience preferred
  • Open to new graduates with strong clinical training
  • Experience in acute care or inpatient setting preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience preferred
  • Experience in acute care or inpatient setting preferred
