About The Position

The position involves interpreting physician referrals and completing evaluations in various areas including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems. The role requires establishing a plan of care based on evaluation results and functional goals, monitoring and adjusting treatment plans, and providing updates to physicians and team members. Responsibilities also include planning for patient discharge, completing documentation, managing patient care, and ensuring compliance with billing and documentation policies. The position requires participation in performance improvement activities and may involve supervising physical therapy assistants and students.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Physical Therapy License in the State of Illinois or Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days.
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
