The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing optimal patient care, whether for adults or geriatrics, in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures, as well as Joint Commission standards and requirements. This role includes evaluating patients, developing patient care plans, setting long and short-term goals, delivering direct patient care, and reassessing the care provided by staff under supervision. The Physical Therapist may also be called upon to act on departmental matters during the absence of the Director.
