About The Position

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist, PRN to join our team at the Home of the Innocents in our Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center Division. If you have a heart for children and want to make a difference in their health and well-being, we want to hear from you! A Day in the Life Provide assessments, develop care plans, and deliver treatments according to physician orders. Complete daily documentation of services, billing, and progress notes. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary staff to support therapy goals. Follow long-term care regulatory requirements, including infection control procedures. Support the evaluation process, documentation, and treatment planning — not just direct therapy. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (required).
  • Current Kentucky Physical Therapist licensure and board certification (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience (may include during course of study); additional experience with multiple disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with staff, families, and others with dignity and respect.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized knowledge in pediatrics, orthopedics, and aquatic therapy (highly preferred).
  • additional experience with multiple disabilities preferred.
