About The Position
Theracare is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in a Skilled Nursing Care setting. Be part of a dedicated therapy team Lots of rehab to home' Outpatients from community Easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support Flexible Schedule for that home/work balance
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license/certification
- Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
- New graduates welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function.
- Work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy.
