About The Position
The Physical Therapist, PRN - WEEKENDS ONLY, operates under the general supervision of the Leader of Rehabilitative Services Department. The role involves assessing, formulating goals, planning interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment related to the rehabilitation of patients with acute or chronic physical dysfunction or pain, with a focus on movement dysfunction. The Physical Therapist provides or supervises the provision of physical modalities, exercise, and other procedures to maximize a patient's functional independence. This position requires ethical and professional conduct while caring for patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The therapist must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria.
