About The Position

To provide Physical Therapy services to patients in an Inpatient Rehab setting Develop, document, and implement appropriate treatment plans to promote the optimal outcomes for patients with a wide range of injuries and ages. Participates in regularly scheduled patient care-team conferences to contribute to the interdisciplinary plan of care with therapy goals, patient progress, and discharge recommendations. Coordinates patient care with an interdisciplinary team that includes but is not limited to: physicians, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, etc. Demonstrates the ability to work in a dynamic environment, with strong organizational and time management skills. A compassionate professional who encourages and inspires their patients to work toward greater independence and recovery Shift: PRN - As Needed

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, valid Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Mississippi
  • American Red Cross BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings preferred.
