About The Position

Healthcare Therapy Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants to join our team on a PRN basis at a highly rated continuing care retirement community located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Requirements

  • Valid Ohio state licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work some weekday hours, with availability to accommodate various needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate approach to resident care and a commitment to improving quality of life.
  • Applicants must have an active Ohio Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Ohio license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services to residents, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document residents’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and injury prevention strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
