Physical Therapist - Outpatient

That’s exactly what defines Orthosport. We are looking for a full-time outpatient PT that is passionate about one on one specialty treatment with their patients. We are a niche, pilates based physical therapy company that takes great pride in what we do. You will have the ability to work 4 ten hour shifts or 5 eight hour shifts, all Mon-Fri. Our facility is unique and highly specialized, offering exposure to a wide variety of orthopedic and manual therapy cases. You’ll also receive integrated Pilates training to deepen your movement-based treatment approach and expand your clinical skill set. What you’ll learn here will become part of your professional foundation — skills you’ll carry throughout your career. Requirements
- Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in California
- CPR and first aid certification required
- Physical Therapist licensure in good standing, or the ability to obtain state licensure.
- AHA BLS required
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment standards.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing patients medical history
- Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending and average of 30 minutes with each person
- Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
- Developing individualized treatment plans for patients with clear goals and expected outcomes
- Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on manual therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
- Recording patient progress and modifying the plan of care as needed
- Demonstrate comprehensive clinical knowledge and acceptable performance in all aspects of the patient/client encounter.
- Comply with all regulatory guidance including but not limited to HIPAA, Medicare rules and billing and coding guidance.
- Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team.
