Physical Therapist Staff (Outpatient Pelvic Health) | CUIMC | Full-Time | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–4:30 PM and 11:00 AM–7:00 PM | Intermittent weekend/holiday coverage
About The Position
At New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Physical Therapists utilize advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. The hospital is committed to providing outstanding medical care through one-on-one therapies tailored to individual patient needs, with experienced staff dedicated to helping patients reach their full potential. This role is part of an interdisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation team, focusing on delivering high-quality care to patients of all genders with various pelvic health conditions, including pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain and incontinence, peri-partum and obstetric care, and post-prostatectomy rehabilitation. Additionally, the Physical Therapist will treat orthopedic and neurological conditions as needed, adhering to post-operative protocols and best-practice standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Current NYS Physical Therapy licensure
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating a variety of pelvic health diagnoses in adult male and/or female populations
- Experience managing orthopedic and neurological conditions, including post-operative care
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years prior outpatient experience with a background in orthopedic and or pelvic health PT
