Physical Therapist - Outpatient Float Pool
About The Position
The Physical Therapist plans and provides treatment to meet a patient's rehabilitation goals. You will develop and implement the physical therapy plan and establish a plan of care for patients. You will advocate, communicate, and educate patients of all ages while showing competence, awareness, and sensitivity of their physical, emotional and sociopsychological needs. This role provides a leadership opportunity as you will mentor PTAs, students, and volunteers. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. Requirements
- Education: Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Skills: Must know and utilize theories of physical medicine.
- License: Current PT License in State of practice
- Certification: CPR
- Possess physical ability and condition to handle patients correctly and safely.
- Be able to handle standard equipment that is in a physical therapy department.
