About The Position
The University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Cardiology department at 62 Tilley Drive, South Burlington, Vermont. This part-time position is currently scheduled for 28 hours per week, with the potential to increase to full-time hours in the future. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide physical therapy to cardiac rehabilitation patients, helping them to recover and improve their physical abilities following illness or injury. As a Physical Therapist, you will diagnose and manage movement dysfunction, enhance physical and functional abilities, and promote an optimal quality of life for your patients. In this role, you will be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team, providing direct care to patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. You will also be responsible for educating and preparing patients, families, and caregivers for continued care after discharge.
