About The Position

Mountain Land Physical Therapy is a private practice leading the nation in advancing musculoskeletal care. Our Orthopedic Residency provides practicing clinicians advanced orthopedic education and 1:1 clinical mentorship to develop highly skilled, evidence-based practitioners and future leaders in the profession. As a resident, you will integrate best evidence into patient care, collaborate with experienced mentors, and prepare to sit for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) examination through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Engage in Advanced Clinical Practice: Work 32 clinical hours per week with dedicated mentorship and 8 hours for didactic learning. Schedules are designed to balance patient care, coursework, and professional growth. Participate in Specialty Rotations: Experience unique learning opportunities including orthopedic surgical observation, physician clinic collaboration, EMG observation, and musculoskeletal ultrasound training. Develop as a Leader and Educator: Complete leadership, service-based, and research projects while attending monthly spine rounds, in-services, and conferences such as the Mountain Land Running or Pelvic Summit. Requirements

  • Current PT licensure or ability to obtain in timely manner.
  • Ability to work in-person in Salt Lake City, Utah during residency.
