About The Position

Luminis Health is seeking passionate physical therapists to join our Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, immersive experience designed to develop clinical expertise, provide mentorship, and prepare residents for the Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) Exam. Requirements

  • Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Active or pending state physical therapist license
  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Attainment of Maryland Physical Therapy licensure prior to beginning the residency program
  • Five references provided through our skills surveys, including at least one clinical and one educational reference
  • Submission of at least one letter of recommendation from one of the above references
  • Completion of an interview with the Residency Program Director and Residency Coordinator
  • Current CPR certification
  • Submission of a Personal Vision and Development Plan
  • Submission of applications through RF-PTCAS and LHAAMC’s Careers webpage
  • Compliance with all Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center employment requirements

Responsibilities

  • Treat and evaluate patients up to 34 hours per week
  • Engage in 8+ hours of coursework and professional development weekly
  • Gain multi-disciplinary exposure
  • Benefit from direct mentorship, hands-on training, and cutting-edge learning experiences
  • Complete a quality improvement research project, with opportunities to present and publish
