About The Position

This is an open-pooled position. Applicants' education/experience will be considered and the position may be filled at a lower or higher level, as appropriate. The Physical Therapist directs the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients. They provide physical therapy services under the guidelines set by the Practice Act and Rules of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist serves as a patient advocate, assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards, while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, guidelines, policies, and procedures of the department and the organization.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy or Doctoral from an accredited program.
• Zero (0) years' related experience for Physical Therapist position.
• Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas for Senior Physical Therapist position.
• Five years' related experience for Senior Physical Therapist position.
• Texas PT licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TBPTE).
• Maintain active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Approved by American Heart Association).
