About The Position

Physical Therapist, FT, Piedmont Columbus Midtown RESPONSIBLE FOR: Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff. We have multiple locations to choose from: Midtown campus Northside campus John B. Amos Cancer Center Gateway Road Physical Therapy Clinic (Outpatient PT) one on one treatment sessions in outpatient settings. Piedmont Columbus Regional is the region’s healthcare leader— consisting of two primary hospitals (Midtown and Northside), plus the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital, and the John B Amos Cancer Center. Our Midtown Campus is a 583-bed, acute care hospital and features a regional Level II trauma center. Our Northside Campus is a licensed 100-bed general acute care hospital specializing in orthopedic, spine, bariatrics, and surgical services. Must maintain current CEU?s as required by the State. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia. BLS certification through AHA. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
  • Must maintain current CEU?s as required by the State.
  • None.
  • Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia.
  • BLS certification through AHA.
