Join our team as a Physical Therapist within our Inpatient Physical Therapy department at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinarily with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient-centered approach to the care they provide. The Physical Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, treatment, and education to patients and family members through a continuum of care according to the Physical Therapy Practice Act, Code of Ethics, JCAHO/UMQC, Policies and Procedures, and Federal/State regulations. #LI-JS1$4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles The following are not eligible for hiring incentives: • Internal candidates • Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met: • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter) • Must remain in original department/specialty • Must remain in original Job Title • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter
Requirements
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in CA or Pending CA PT license
- Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Current BLS Certificate
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting
