About The Position

The Physical Therapist II position is focused on outpatient orthopedic care, requiring the therapist to provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up services to physician-referred patients. The role is based in Glenview, IL at Glenbrook Hospital, and involves working full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily during days and evenings. The clinic operates Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM, Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM, with two evening shifts required until 7 PM. The position does not require travel or holiday work.

Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of IL
• Graduation from a program in physical therapy approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or its educational equivalent
• 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong background in a hospital or acute care setting
• CPR certification required
• Experience in outpatient care
• Skills in outpatient physical therapy and orthopedic care

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
• Participate in the clinical supervision of students
