About The Position

We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! The Physical Therapist II position in the Oncology Rehab & Lymphedema Clinic is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The therapist gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adherence to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is essential to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. The role also includes providing clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serving as a clinical instructor for assigned students.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid PT license.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience.
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in computer and required technology.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in Oncology Rehab.
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
