About The Position

Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality rehabilitative care across diverse settings. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing therapy programs that restore mobility, reduce pain, enhance strength, and improve functional independence following injury or illness. We strongly prefer candidates with prior physical therapy experience who can confidently lead patient care and collaborate effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams. This position includes a travel component, offering the opportunity to work in varied clinical environments while maintaining continuity of care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and privacy, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities also include supervising therapy assistants and aides, and serving as a clinical instructor for assigned students. This position requires the ability to Float at any time among the following locations, within a reasonable geographic radius: Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley Alta Bates Medical Center in Oakland and Berkley California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco Mill Peninsula Medical Center in Burlingame Delta Medical Center in Antioch Solano Medical Center in Vallejo Novato Medical Center in Novato Travel will be required to three of the six listed locations, with assignments thoughtfully chosen based on proximity to your home.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
  • PT-Physical Therapist
  • OR Will also consider approved license applicant or resident training program employee.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Department: Home Health, DL-Valid Drivers License Class C
  • Department: Home Health, AUTO-Automobile Insurance
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
  • Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
  • Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.
