About The Position

Atlantic Health System is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual, to join the energetic and innovative team of healthcare professionals in their Atlantic Visiting Nurse Division as a Part Time Physical Therapist in Essex County. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat patients in the patient's home and be a part of a collaborative team of health providers. Schedule is flexible between Monday through Friday and 8-4pm daily. Also, weekend rotation every 4 to 6 weeks. Atlantic Visiting Nurse provides personalized care for you or a loved one to regain health, stay out of the hospital, and remain living independently at home. Whether or not it is managing life with a chronic illness, living with a disability, returning home from the hospital or rehabilitation facility, or need assistance with end-of-life care, we are available to you in six counties throughout New Jersey: Morris, Somerset, Essex, Sussex, Union, and Warren. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, required
  • NJ License in Physical Therapy, required

Nice To Haves

  • Master or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
  • 1 year of experience in homecare, strongly preferred
  • BLS, preferred
