About The Position

Independently evaluates the movement ability of patients through the administration and interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview. Creates individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs and provides patient/family training. Develops and implements innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings. Consults with medical team and allied health professionals and documents all pertinent clinical findings to render a comprehensive, family-based or individual intervention plan.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• BLS for Health Providers (AHA) certification.
• Valid California driver's license and auto insurance when applicable.
• Current California license in Physical Therapy or eligibility if a new graduate or licensed in another state.
• Bachelor's degree in lieu of Master's degree if graduated prior to 2000.
• Ability to work independently and use critical thinking skills in patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• 2 years of experience in a relevant position.
