About The Position

The Physical Therapist I, Correctional Facility administers physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II. This position is located at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego County, California. The role is part-time, requiring 4 hours of work per week, and is classified under the California State Civil Service Pay Scales with an authorized HAM rate of $667.60.

Requirements

  • Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
