About The Position

The Physical Therapist I position at Sharp Memorial Hospital involves evaluating, planning, directing, and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. The therapist assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The role includes participation in operational aspects of the department, maintaining performance improvement activities, and participating in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved and accredited professional Physical Therapy school or program.
• California Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) - CA Physical Therapy Board - REQUIRED.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association - REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• CCS Paneling is required for Therapists functioning in a CCS-designated NICU.
