About The Position

This position is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs designed to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The role requires demonstrating advanced knowledge and practice level competencies, serving as a recognized clinical or workflow subject matter expert. Key responsibilities include developing workflows, clinical protocols, or guidelines for the department. The individual will also act as a resource for education, training, and mentoring other staff, and as a clinical instructor for assigned students, potentially coordinating staff education and student programs. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is crucial to ensure patient privacy and safety while delivering optimal care.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy school
PT-Physical Therapist certification
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
DL-Valid Drivers License (for Home Health department)
AUTO-Automobile Insurance (for Home Health department)
5 years of recent relevant experience
Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders in developing solutions
Critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgment and ability to work independently
Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements
Ability to work in a demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements
Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies
Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills
Interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities
Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills
Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement
