About The Position

The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing and treating patients to enhance their recovery and functional independence. This role involves developing and implementing effective treatment plans while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a supportive environment that emphasizes professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required; Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ).
  • Valid CPR License.
  • Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EMR software.
  • New Grad Mentorship Program participation.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and record patient care data following guidelines and regulations.
  • Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history and understanding diagnoses.
  • Select and administer tests and measures to formulate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Establish treatment plans based on evaluation results and best practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patients' support systems.
  • Assess and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
  • Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
  • Promote JAG in the community through lectures and presentations.
