Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral and standards of treatment, the Rehabilitation Physical Therapist performs objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. This role includes direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Responsibilities are carried out in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
