The attractive pay ranges from $118,918.80 to $148,200.00 per year, depending on experience. The role involves helping patients maintain, restore, and improve their movement, activity, and function, with responsibilities including conducting reexaminations and discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care.
  • If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required along with appropriate mentoring and/or participation in a residency program.
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Helping patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
  • Providing interventions and conducting reexaminations every 30 days at minimum.
  • Modifying interventions as necessary and performing discharge planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.
