About The Position

Emanate Health is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy to provide high quality, comprehensive, and patient-centered physical therapy services. This role includes patient examination, development and administration of treatment plans, documentation, and communication with physicians and other referral sources. The Clinical Specialist will work collaboratively with various healthcare team members to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The position is focused on delivering world-class healthcare to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Minimum of 80 hours of clinical education in specialty area.
• 5 years of experience or PT Clinical Specialist certification.
• California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire for CP Rehab.
• Annual 4 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH.
• Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for Clinical Specialist Physical Therapy working at QVH.
• Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required for Clinical Specialist Physical Therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Cardiopulmonary Rehab experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, comprehensive, and patient-centered physical therapy services.
• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and administer treatment plans.
• Document and communicate with physicians and other referral sources.
• Handle and administer medications according to legal guidelines.
• Provide clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
