What You’ll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PT) you will: 1-2 years of experience doing PT initial assessments (Some Homecare experience is needed) Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising therapist. Assist patients with exercises and mobility techniques to improve strength, coordination, and independence. Observe, document, and report patient progress or changes to the supervising therapist and physician. Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and use of assistive equipment.
