Join the Howard Head Team - Where Elite Care Meets Mountain Living Howard Head Sports Medicine (HHSM), in partnership with Vail Health, is looking for a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team. This float position offers a unique opportunity to work across our state-of-the-art clinics throughout Eagle County, delivering high-quality care to a wide variety of patients-from weekend warriors to elite athletes. Requirements
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado, or hold a valid PT Compact Privilege
- Hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Committed to evidence-based practice and clinical growth
- Comfortable working in different clinic environments and adapting to team needs
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients using appropriate tests and measurements to determine level of function and create individualized treatment plans
- Establish physical therapy interventions based on physician orders and patient goals
- Deliver competent and safe therapy techniques in accordance with best practices
- Ensure continuity of care through effective communication with other providers
- Document patient progress and submit billing in a timely manner
- Provide patient/family education on home programs and self-care strategies
- Participate in clinical instruction and mentoring of PT/PTA students
- Represent HHSM in community events and professional engagements
- Float between various HHSM locations within Eagle County as needed
- Must be HIPAA compliant and demonstrate the values of a Just Culture
