About The Position
The Physical Therapist position at CNRVMC - Carilion New River Valley Medical Center is a PRN/Flex role that involves confirming and interpreting physician referrals, performing patient assessments, and planning and implementing individualized treatment programs. The therapist will take into account the patient's developmental and/or chronological age and medical diagnoses in accordance with the regulations governing the principles and practice of Physical Therapy. Responsibilities include providing patient care based on physician referrals, coordinating patient care and clinical activities, documenting in the patient's medical record, supervising PTAs, and participating in departmental activities.
