About The Position

This will be a physical therapy position with majority of the caseload focused on managing patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome/Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder. This position will be instrumental in the development of standardized physical therapy pathways for this patient population, with significant research opportunities, and will present in a weekly virtual EDS group education session. This position will also have a mix of patient care specializing in spine conditions and musculoskeletal conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Two years of outpatient physical therapy experience, including experience in Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome/Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, Orthopedics, and/or Spine.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
• Florida State licensure to practice Physical Therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Advanced Specialty Certification, including Board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, Dry Needling certified, Manual Therapy Certification (MTC).
